Since 2007, Brett’s career in real estate has spanned some of the most diverse market conditions – some of the best of times and some of the most challenging since the Great Depression. In fact, it is the challenge and unknown of each real estate transaction that he enjoys most – finding solutions that help clients achieve the result that best fits their goals.
He is the neighborhood expert choice for DC’s 16th Street Heights, where he has lived since 2009 and serves as Co-Chair for the Community Alliance for Upper Fourteenth Street (CAUFS), and has been instrumental in securing DC Main Street Designation as well as ongoing operation of the neighborhood farmer’s market.
Brett also takes his business where his business takes him: spanning from Ashburn, Virginia to Bowie, Maryland and Frederick, Maryland to Stafford, Virginia.
Having grown up in San Diego, Los Angeles, Tehran and Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, he is an alumnus of Luther College in Decorah, Iowa. Currently, he lives with his husband, daughter and two collies in 16th Street Heights. Prior to joining McEnearney Associates, he spent a quarter century providing strategic communications counsel to a variety of Fortune 500 companies, elected officials and start-ups.
