Madeline Caporiccio earned her realtor license in March of 1988. When starting her career in new homes, she was the New Homes Sales Rookie of the Year for Long Signature homes. She earned her Broker’s license May 2002.

Madeline is the wife of a career military officer and has experienced the challenges of relocating and learned how to bloom where she is planted. While living in Birmingham, Alabama she implemented a new homes division for a large residential real estate agency. She has first hand knowledge of what it is to go through the downsizing process. Madeline and her husband recently downsized from a 2,500 sq. ft. single family home to a 1,250 sq. ft. condo.

As your real estate advocate, she is ready to help you sift through all the information available in the media and on the web, and advise you on what’s right and what may be misleading or inaccurate.

And with her experience and daily immersion in this market, she can transform all that information into knowledge to help you make the best decision and to purchase the right house at the right price.

Once described as a “dog with a bone” she sinks her teeth into a problem and doesn’t let go until her client’s needs are met.

As a Senior Real Estate Specialist, Madeline has received extensive education on issues that the 55+ population face when selling their home.

  • She has the knowledge, experience, and compassion to deal with senior issues.
  • She can suggest housing alternatives, including ones that may allow an aging parent to remain at home instead of selling.
  • She will take the time needed to make you feel comfortable during the selling process.
  • She can interact easily with all generations, including seniors, adult children, and caretakers.
  • She understands the emotional demands a sale can make on seniors.
  • She can tailor the marketing of a home to the needs of an older client.
  • She is knowledgeable about local senior housing options and elder support services.
  • She has a wide network of other senior-focused professionals who can assist in tax counseling, financial and estate planning, and other aspects of the sale and move.

" ABOVE AND BEYOND service from Madeline. She was always reachable and reliably provided fabulous and trustworthy advice. Madeline was an advocate for me not just as an agent making a sale but as a surrogate mother who was looking out for my bottom line. She got me everything I wanted and more! "

" We highly recommend Madeline Caporiccio as a real estate agent for any individual or family searching for the ideal home. Madeline helped us find our first home in 2007 and, when we decided to sell it in 2017, she sold it in one showing! In the intervening years we recommended Madeline to anyone we knew looking for a realtor, several of our friends ultimately purchased homes with her as their agent. Madeline is hard working, attentive, organized, warm, and very savvy when it comes to the NOVA market. Above all else, Madeline is very customer-oriented – we were her first priority! During both sales, she took diligent notes on our preferences and stuck to our budget. Originally, we were in the market to buy a townhome. Madeline, however, went out on a limb and showed us the perfect cape cod style house in a wonderful neighborhood. We immediately fell in love with the house and yard and started the process to buy it. Madeline kept in touch every step of the way until we closed. When our jobs took us out of the area and we made the decision to sell Madeline was once again with us from the start. She made suggestions on how to maximize the value of our home and helped us to find trusted contractors for some minor issues that added greatly to the ease with which our home sold. She found us multiple bidders on the very first day! Once we entered contract negotiations the process was incredibly smooth, far less stressful than we imagined it would be. We cannot thank her enough for her help, and if we ever move back to the area she is only realtor we will call. "

" Top Notch! She was available, energetic and conscientious. We were on a short timeline and budget. Most notably Madeline spotted a big issue with one property - no permits. We were able to avoid this potentially expensive pitfall thanks to her advice."

" Thank you, Madeline, You have been absolutely amazing, and I appreciate it so much. "

" I highly recommend Madeline Caporiccio as a Real Estate Broker. She is very knowledgeable and easy to work with. I was working on a strict deadline transferring out of state. I am a Real Estate Broker and broke the cardinal rule and tried to sell my own house. I failed. Madeline stepped in and within three weeks had my house under contract and sold for top dollar. She made the whole process go smoothly and took away all my stress. I wasn't the calmest client she ever had to work with and she helped me with anything I needed. You can't go wrong if you hire Madeline to help you buy or sell a house. Terri Brown, Jacksonville District Manager Watson Property Management 4456 Sunbeam Road, Suite 100 Jacksonville, FL 32257"

" Madeline was/is GREAT! Very responsive, knowledgeable, gave excellent advice, great follow-up, always explaining everything i.e. options, contract, inspections, etc. It's been 20 years since I've bought/sold a house, but Madeline made the entire process easy and "held my hand" so to speak throughout - and she came to my spinning class, took me out to dinner and will remain a good friend!"

" We met Madeline when we were looking to rent a house back in 2009. Even before we arrived, she helped us narrow down the neighborhoods we were most likely to be interested in, planned visits to several possible rentals, and when we struggled to find something to suit our needs, she spent several more days helping us find the right home, in a great neighborhood. We were so impressed with her commitment to helping us, that several years later, when we decided to buy a home; we knew we wanted to work with Madeline. It was the best decision we made! During our home search, Madeline was always available for us, sending us listings, responding to our questions, and coordinating many home walk throughs. Because we were specific in the area we wanted to live, we were willing to wait for “the one”. At no point did we ever feel pressured by Madeline to make a purchase. In fact, on a couple of ‘maybe’ houses, she counseled restraint and provided information that we would have missed on our own — an indication of her as a person, and how much she cared about us and not just making a sale. My wife and I would ABSOLUTELY recommend her to our friends and I simply would not buy another property without having her on our team! In fact, we feel like she is now part of our Northern Virginia family. "

" Madeline was always there for me - emails, phone calls, and in person. Madeline was professional and always kept my needs and desires in mind during the home buying process."

– Father Daniel Mode

" Nothing short of excellent! I worked with Madeline to buy my first home and then 13 years later to sell it. She is professional, personable, and a great advocate. Madeline is wonderful - I can't imagine buying or selling a home with anyone else. She just goes above and beyond to make what can be a challenging and emotional experience pleasant and easy."

" Dear Madeline, Thank you very much for the outstanding support you provided to Gloria and I in the sale of our former house and purchase of the new one...Your instinct was right in encouraging Gloria to visit our new house, when she originally was reluctant, thinking it was not worthwhile. But we are so pleased to be here now! Of course your help settling on a fair price, despite the tight market and competitive bids, was also most valuable...Our financing required a quick but good sale of our former house. I still can't believe you succeeded in getting solid bids, at our price mark, the first week on the market! That really helped make the whole set of transactions feasible. Of course your insight into how best to show that house was no doubt key to that success."
