Commitment.  That word sums up Pat Buck’s rich lifetime of service to her family, community and her industry.

A graduate of the National Cathedral School and Vassar College, Pat has traveled the world as the daughter of an Army officer and the wife of a West Point graduate and is the proud mother of three boys – one of whom is also a West Point grad.  Pat learned the tradition of service before self at a young age and has applied that level of commitment and dedication to everything she has done.

Throughout Pat’s career in the real estate business – which now spans over 40 years - she has been consistently recognized as an outstanding professional and exemplary individual.  She is resolute on behalf of her clients and profession.  She has done it all in the real estate industry, a tireless volunteer who has served on the Boards of Directors of both the Northern Virginia and Virginia Associations of REALTORs® as well as too many committees and task forces to count.  She has been the Virginia President of the Certified Residential Specialists, and has been recognized by her peers in Northern Virginia as their Sales Associate of the Year.  Committed to lifetime learning, she has earned almost every professional designation under the sun.

But it is her loyal clients who keep Pat energized and engaged.  She is proud to be serving the second generation of some of her clients as well as those they continue to refer to her, and that is the best testament to her success.  She has a particular sensitivity to the needs of the military community, having moved 27 times as both the child and spouse of a man in uniform, and has kept the home fires burning with young children and a husband in combat overseas.  Recognizing her commitment, Pat’s husband Champ partnered with her in real estate after his distinguished career in the United States Army until he passed away in 2011.   Pat remains as dedicated to her clients today as she was the day she first got her real estate license.  One of her clients put it this way: “There is a difference, and the difference is Pat Buck.”  We couldn’t agree more. She is there for you when it counts.

In her spare time, Pat enjoys cross country skiing, water skiing, cooking and entertaining. She is author of the cookbook, “Please Don’t Paint the Peas,” and a lifetime volunteer with the Red Cross, Anglican and Episcopal Churches, Boy Scouts, American Association of University Women, and other military, political and civic organizations. She Currently serves on the West Point Class of '57 Committee.

" We have known Pat for many years, bought one home and sold two with her. She is everything a Realtor could and should be: honest, dependable, knowledgeable, hard-working, experienced, determined that her Client gets the best possible transaction buying or selling! We trust Pat."

– The Whalens, USMA '57

" Pat is always considerate, very smart, knows her Real Estate and has an excellent reputation. She is a very concise but tough Agent for her Clients."

– Paula J.

" Pat Buck is our favorite REALTOR®. Under her tutelage, we bought two residences, one commercial property and sold one residence. Her Army heritage is in evidence as she approaches each prospective transaction as though it were a military campaign. Every detail is meticulously planned. She was the drill instructor . . . the staff officer . . . the protocol officer and Army chief. Nothing was overlooked . . . She is the most professional, tireless, hardworking and meticulous broker we know."

– J Arnold, USMA '65

" The best REALTOR® I have ever dealt with!"

– J. Gordon

" This is the third time we have worked with Pat. She has assisted us with the purchase of two homes - one in Virginia and one in Florida, and she sold our Virginia home. Pat is a very dedicated professional at each and every step of our times together."

– The Barons

" Pat's service was outstanding. She maintained close contact with me through every detail of marketing my home, negotiating the sale, and seeing it successfully closed. Pat has to have a lot of energy to be able to simultaneously juggle so many tasks and deadlines. She combines thoroughness, enthusiasm, dedication, and a commitment to excellence with knowledge and experience in the real estate market. Pat made sure that mine was a happy, very positive experience. It's obvious that Pat loves what she does. Also, along those lines, have you noticed that smile? "

– Rebecca T.

" Pat is competent, dedicated and very professional, and worked very hard on our behalf! She has represented us twice as buyer and now as a seller, and she takes care of every detail. She makes the entire process as painless as possible."
